Canadian pianist-composer Kris Davis has collaborated with John Zorn, Craig Taborn, Don Byron, Tyshawn Sorey, Eric Revis and others, and her album Duopoly was hailed as one of the best albums of 2016 by The New York TimesPop Matters, NPR, LA Times and Jazz Times. For this concert Davis will perform music from her new album Diatom Ribbons with multiple-Grammy winner and 2019 Doris Duke artist Terri Lyne Carrington (drums), and electronic music artist Val Jeanty, whose soundscapes incorporating Haitian traditional ritual music have been performed at the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and Roulette.
