FRONT (Stories for Video) is a publication produced alongside an installation by Hewson/Walker at Western Front during their media arts residency in 1991. The publication contains both text and images taken from the video installation, the text presented as a long-form poem, meditating on a series of melancholy images: absences, a night-time garden, past encounters, dust motes in the sun, a car wreck. The text is accompanied by eight black-and-white video stills.
